Our Support & Outreach initiatives provide emotional support, financial assistance, and resources for parents, siblings, and caregivers. Sunshine Committee
For Families in Need of Emotional or Financial Support
The Sunshine Committee provides direct outreach to families during challenging times, such as:
New & expectant parents adjusting to a diagnosis
Families experiencing medical emergencies or hospital stays
Parents in need of emotional support
What We Offer:
Care Packages – Delivered to new parents and families facing hospital stays.
Financial Assistance – Limited aid for families experiencing hardship due to medical needs.
Check-Ins & Emotional Support – Personalized outreach from fellow parents and caregivers.

Super Sibs (Siblings Group)
Support & Fun for the Siblings of Individuals with Down Syndrome
Having a sibling with Down syndrome is a unique and wonderful experience, but it also comes with its own challenges. The Super Sibs group gives siblings a chance to:
Meet other siblings who understand their journey
Participate in fun sibling-focused activities
Have a safe space to share feelings & experiences
