Little Homies (Ages 0–10)

A Play-Based Support & Social Group for Young Kids & Families

Welcome to the Little Homies with Extra Chromies! This group is designed for children in grades 5 and under along with their parents and siblings. Whether you’re a new or experienced parent of a child with Down syndrome, this group provides fun activities, early childhood resources, and a supportive community to grow alongside.

What We Offer

Our events and activities are designed to help children socialize, learn, and have fun while giving parents a chance to connect and share experiences.

  • Fun & Interactive Playdates – Engage in sensory-friendly outings, playground meetups, and inclusive group activities.

  • Parent Networking & Support – Meet other parents navigating similar experiences in a safe and welcoming environment.

  • Creative & Developmental Activities – Arts & crafts, music, movement, and skill-based play.

  • Special Events – Holiday gatherings, themed parties, and community outings.

  • Swim Program Access – Little Homies members are encouraged to participate in GSDSS’s swim program!

Who Can Join?
